The Koki’o ke’oke’o is a special flower that grows on a tree native to Hawaii. This flower closely resembles the hibiscus flowers your see out and about and also in your local grocery store bouquet section. The flower is very delicate, and found in moist wet tropical forests all over Hawaii. Also they can be found in valleys, if the conditions closely resemble the ones in the moist forests.
The flower is pearly white in color. Sometimes the flower is found with vibrant pink touches in the middle of the flower. The flower has red veins and a red stem. The tree/ shrub can get anywhere between 15-25 feet tall. The leaves are round and smooth, with the exception of their rough edges. The flowers are always in bloom and have a slight scent to them.
