Hawaiian Monk Seal
The hawaiian monk seal is the one type of seal that loves the hot tropical waters of Hawaii. Most seals use their blubber in the freezing cold arctic waters but the Hawaiian monk seal has adapted to thrive in the warm waters of Hawaii. The monk seal loves eating the tropical fish, lobster, eels and octopi. The seals in the arctic use the ice as their shelter and protection while the Hawaiian seals use the beeches soft sand to lay out in the sun. For protection of storms and other harsh weather the seals use the coral reefs and sea plants to take cover.
