Hoary bat
The hoary bat in one of 2 native mammals of Hawaii the rest are wither fish, birds and reptiles. The hoary Bat is about the size of a mouse. The tip of the bats noes to its tail is about 15cm, and has a wingspan of 43cm. The bat has very long teeth for it's small size. The hoary bat eats bugs, such as moths, wasps, grasshoppers and other insects. The bat attacks its prey by coming from behind and then eating it. the hoary bat has a few predators that it needs to stay away from, Birds of prey, like hawks, and owls, rattlesnakes and American kestrels.
